Spoilet – The pd concept by Square Gallery

Tucked into a lane off Anfu Lu you will find Square Gallery, a platform dedicated to providing artists from all disciplines with a space to exhibit work. The gallery itself is small, a mere 9m²! It's regarded by its owner, Jianfang Shi, as an art piece in itself. In his open calls, Jianfang challenges applicants to create installations that not only accommodate but appropriate the space. Until 25 August, Square Gallery will be exhibiting Spoilet by the pd concept, pseudonym of artist Panos Dimitriopoulos.

Panos is a Greek conceptual artist who has previously lived and worked in Athens and London. He studied Art and Communications at Goldsmiths College and has exhibited work across Europe and Asia. He's been based in Shanghai for the past seven years. Alongside his art practice, Panos works as a director of semiotics and cultural consultancy.
