China visa-free for six countries | 中国对瑞士等6国试行免签政策

The Department of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the 7th: To further facilitate the exchange of people between China and other countries, the Chinese side has decided to expand the scope of countries eligible for visa-free entry. A visa-free policy will be trialed for ordinary passport holders from Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, and Luxembourg. From March 14, 2024, to November 30, 2024, individuals holding ordinary passports from the aforementioned countries can enter China without a visa for purposes of business, tourism, family visits, and transit for up to 15 days. Individuals from these countries who do not meet the visa-free conditions will still need to obtain a visa before entering China.

外交部领事司7日发布：为进一步促进中外人员往来，中方决定扩大免签国家范围，对瑞士、爱尔兰、匈牙利、奥地利、比利时、卢森堡6个国家持普通护照人员试行免签政策。2024年3月14日至11月30日期间，上述国家持普通护照人员来华经商、旅游观光、探亲访友和过境不超过15天，可免签入境。上述国家不符合免签条件人员仍需在入境前办妥来华签证。
