Sunny Little Prodigy Enters the Art World

In Shanghai, there is an old tradition about great talent coming together with positive character. What do you get when you put the two of them together? You get Jessica!

在上海，人们常常说腹有诗书气自华。当你把才华和气质放在一起时你会得到什么呢? 你会得到严羽彤！

Jessica是 2012 年出生在上海。

Jessica was born in Shanghai in 2012. 


她从 2017 年 1月开始画画，很快展现出自己在绘画和音乐上的天赋。她强烈的艺术风格不仅呈现出她的才华，也表现了她阳光的性格。

She started painting in January 2017 and quickly began to display her talent for painting and music. Her strong artistic style expresses not only her talent, but her sunny character as well.

Konrad, 严羽彤的第一位英语老师,说：“严羽彤送给我的第一幅画令我喜出望外。这幅画极富魅力，它看起来像是由 20 多岁的人绘制的。 然而有一天严羽彤告诉我，那是她 6 岁时画的。我从未有过对艺术这样的兴趣，但从那天起，我变得感性，我的思想对艺术变得更向往。我决定通过向外界宣传严羽彤的艺术才能来帮她。”

Konrad, Jessica’s first English teacher says, “I was so amazed by the first painting which Jessica gave me as a present. The painting was stunning. It looked like it was painted by someone who is at least 20 years old. Jessica told me that when she painted it she was only 6 years old. I have never been much into art but since that day my heart became sensitive and my mind became more open to art. I decided to help Jessica by promoting her talent in art to the outside world.”

现在，艺术界的其他人也加入了 Konrad，以帮助这位年轻艺术家的进一步发展。

Now others in the art world have joined Konrad to help further the development of this young artist.

今年夏天，严羽彤将有一个为期六周的展览，从 7 月 2 日到 8 月 17 日。我们非常高兴能够帮助推广这位崭露头角的年轻艺术家，因为本画廊的初衷也是“为新兴艺术家提供展示作品的机会，从而帮助他们发挥自己的潜力。” 计划起来看看她的作品吧！

This Summer, there will be a month long exhibition for Jessica's artwork at an art gallery co owned by Jeff and his wife, Bethany. They are so excited to help promote this up and coming young artist since part of the gallery's aim is to "provide opportunities ”for emerging artists to display their artwork, thereby helping them develop their potential."
