A little introduction to the state of things.

We need to start looking at resources in a different light. They can’t be here today and “gone” tomorrow. Especially as they are never gone. They are just moved and dumped. This dumping is causing terrible problems for our planet. Beijing is completed surrounding by landfill sites as we aren’t thinking as we consume and we definitely aren’t thinking as we discard. 

I used to buy too much crap that I didn’t need, I bought it with money I really didn’t have, to impress people I didn’t like (and to impress some people that I did like). I’ve fortunately stopped this sillyness and I now just buy what I need to live a comfortable and fulfilling life.

For some, this seems like a “radical” or “extreme” idea, but I now see having a home full of things that are not needed or ever used as a really extreme way of living, that’s the true extreme.
