This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and disclose your information, including personal information, in connection with your access to and use of the Wellcee platform and payment services.

In this policy, “Wellcee,” “唯心所寓,” “we,” or “our” refers to the Wellcee company (“Beijing Liangxiao Technology Co., Ltd.”) responsible for your information under this Privacy Policy.


1. Types of Information We Collect

We primarily collect three types of information.

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

1.1.1 Necessary Information for Using the Wellcee Platform

When you use the Wellcee platform, we require you to provide and collect the following personal information. This information is necessary for the full performance of the contract between you and us and enables us to comply with our legal obligations. Without this information, we may not be able to provide you with all the services you have requested.


  • Account Information: When you register for a Wellcee account, we ask you to provide information such as your first name, last name, email address, and phone number.

  • Profile and Service Information: To use certain features of the Wellcee platform (such as initiating private chat messages), we may ask you to provide additional information, which may include your interests, language, profile picture, photos, etc.

  • Payment Information: To use certain features of the Wellcee platform (such as booking or creating a service), we may ask you to provide certain financial information (such as your bank account or third-party payment details) to facilitate the payment process (through Wellcee’s payment entity).

  • Communication with Wellcee and Other Members: When you communicate with Wellcee or interact with other members through the Wellcee platform, we collect your communication information and any other information you choose to provide.

  • Security and Risk Control Verification: To ensure the secure operation of the software and services, prevent unauthorized access to your personal information, more accurately prevent fraud, and protect account security, we collect your device information (including device model, device name, SIM card serial number, device serial number, unique device identifiers such as IMEI, IMSI, AndroidID, IDFA, OAID, MEID), geographic location, running processes, storage (photos, media, and other files), browser type and settings, language settings, sensors, operating system and application version, network device hardware address (MAC address), login IP address, network access method, network quality data, mobile network information (including carrier name), product version number, and software usage records. If you do not agree to the collection of this information, risk control verification may not be completed. Please understand that to dynamically detect any abnormal logins to your account, we may re-read this information each time you switch Wellcee to the background or restart the application. We will control the frequency of these readings within a reasonable range.


1.1.2 Information You Choose to Provide to Us

You may choose to provide us with additional personal information to enhance your user experience when using the Wellcee platform. This additional information will be processed based on your voluntary consent.

  • Additional Profile Information: You may choose to provide additional profile information as part of your personal profile (such as gender, preferred language, city, and personal description). As indicated in your account settings, some of this personal information will be part of your public profile page and will be visible to others.

  • Contact Information from Your Address Book: You may choose to import your address book contacts or manually enter contact information to use certain features on the Wellcee platform, such as inviting them to use Wellcee.

  • Other Information: You may also choose to provide us with additional information when filling out forms, conducting searches, updating or adding Wellcee account information, answering surveys, posting content on community forums, participating in promotions, or using other features of the Wellcee platform.


1.1.3 Necessary Information for Using Payment Services

The payment data controller needs to collect the following information. This information is necessary for the full performance of the contract with you and to comply with relevant laws (such as anti-money laundering regulations). Without this information, you will not be able to use the payment services.

  • Payment Information: When you use payment services, the payment data controller requires certain financial information (such as your bank account or third-party payment details) to process payments and comply with relevant laws.

  • Identity Verification and Other Information: If you are a service provider, the payment data controller may request identity verification information (such as a government-issued ID photo, passport, national ID, or driver’s license) or other verification details, including your date of birth, address, email address, phone number, and other information, to verify your identity, provide payment services to you, and comply with relevant laws.


1.2 Information We Automatically Collect When You Use the Wellcee Platform and Payment Services

When you use the Wellcee platform and payment services, we automatically collect information about the services you use and how you use them, including personal information. This information is necessary for the full performance of the contract between you and us, and is collected based on our legitimate interests to provide and improve the functionality of the Wellcee platform and payment services, as well as to comply with legal obligations.

  • Geolocation Information: When you use certain features of the Wellcee platform, we may collect your precise or approximate location information, which is determined through your IP address or GPS data from your mobile device, to provide you with a better user experience. Most mobile devices allow you to control or disable the use of location services in the device’s settings menu. Even if you are not using the app, Wellcee may still collect this information if your settings or device permissions allow such connections to remain active.

  • We collect information about your interactions with the Wellcee platform, such as the pages or other content you view, the services you search for, the bookings you make, and other activities you perform on the Wellcee platform.

  • Login Data and Device Information: Even if you have not created or logged into a Wellcee account, we automatically collect login data and device information when you visit and use the Wellcee platform. This information includes, but is not limited to: details of your use of the Wellcee platform (including links to third-party applications), IP address, access dates and frequency, hardware and software information, device information, device event data, unique identifiers, crash data, cookie data, and pages you viewed or interacted with before or after using the Wellcee platform.

  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies and similar technologies, such as web beacons, pixels, and mobile identifiers. We may also allow our business partners to use these tracking technologies on the Wellcee platform or have others track your behavior on our behalf. While you can disable cookies through your browser settings, due to the lack of a standard for interpreting this signal, the Wellcee platform currently does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals from browser or mobile app HTTP headers.

  • Payment Transaction Information: Wellcee’s payment entity collects your payment transaction information on the Wellcee platform, including the payment method used, date and time, payment amount, payment method expiration date, billing postal code, PayPal email address, IBAN information, your address, and other relevant transaction details. This information is necessary for the full performance of the contract between you and us and to provide payment services.

  • Camera Permissions: We request access to your camera to allow you to easily capture photos and videos for uploading to Wellcee’s property details, Lifestyle, Wellcee Marketplace, and other sections.

  • Photo Access Permissions: We request access to some of your photos or album to facilitate the uploading of photos and videos to Wellcee’s property details, Lifestyle, Wellcee Marketplace, and other sections.

  • Search Function: When you use the Wellcee search feature, we collect the keywords you query, browsing history, access times, comments, and interaction records. Collecting this information allows us to provide you with the content you need and services you may be more interested in, while also improving our products and services.

  • Location Services: When you enable device location services and use Wellcee’s location-based services (such as property recommendations, content posting, second-hand goods/activity locations, and profile editing), we may collect your geographic location information after obtaining your separate consent through a pop-up. Geographic location information is considered sensitive personal information. If you refuse to provide this information, you will not be able to use the related location-based services mentioned above, but it will not affect your ability to use other functions of Wellcee.

  • Interactive Features and Services: When you follow content that interests you, browse, comment, like, favorite, or share content, we collect information about the content you follow and the actions you take. We will also show you content posted by the accounts you follow.

  • When you use the identity verification feature to apply for certified user status, we may collect your identity information, including your full name, ID card number or photo, and facial recognition data, to verify your personal identity. If you refuse to provide this information, it will not affect the normal use of other Wellcee features.


1.3 Information We Collect Through Third Parties

Wellcee and Wellcee’s payment entity may collect information (including personal information) about you provided by third parties when using the Wellcee platform and payment services, or obtain information from other sources, and integrate it with the information we collect through the Wellcee platform and payment services. We do not control, monitor, or respond to how third parties that provide your information handle your personal data. Any requests regarding the disclosure of your personal information should be directed to such third parties.

  • Third-Party Services: If you link your Wellcee account to third-party services (such as Facebook, WeChat) or log into your Wellcee account using third-party services, the relevant third-party services may send us your registration information and profile data from those services. The information varies depending on the service and is controlled by the relevant service or authorized by you through the privacy settings of the respective service.

  • Identity Information Collection: During the identity verification process, users authorize Wellcee to verify the personal identity and number information you provide on the platform through third parties. This information is used solely for identity verification and will not be displayed in the Wellcee app.


2. How We Use the Information We Collect

We use, store, and process your information (including personal information) to provide, understand, improve, and develop the Wellcee platform, create and maintain a trusted and safer platform environment, and comply with our legal obligations.

2.1 Providing, Improving, and Developing the Wellcee Platform

  • Enable you to access and use the Wellcee platform.
  • Enable you to communicate with other members.
  • Operate, protect, improve, and optimize the Wellcee platform and experience, such as conducting analysis and research.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Send you service or support information, such as updates, security alerts, and account notifications.
  • If you provide us with your contact information, we may process the relevant information to: (i) facilitate sending referral invitations, (ii) send referral requests, (iii) conduct fraud detection and prevention, and (iv) for any purpose you authorize when providing the information.
  • Operate, protect, improve, and optimize the Wellcee platform and experience. Based on your interactions with the Wellcee platform, your search and booking history, your profile information and preferences, and other content you submit to the Wellcee platform, we conduct behavioral analysis.

We process this information based on our legitimate interest in improving the Wellcee platform and member experience, which is necessary for the full performance of the contract between you and us.

2.2 Creating and Maintaining a Trusted and Safer Environment

  • Detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activities.
  • Conduct security investigations and risk assessments.
  • Verify or authenticate the information or identity proof you provide (such as verifying your residential address or comparing the photo on your identity proof with other photos you provide).
  • Check against databases and other information sources, including conducting background or police checks within the limits permitted by applicable laws and, when necessary, with your consent.
  • Comply with our legal obligations.
  • Resolve any disputes between us and Wellcee members and enforce agreements with third parties.
  • Enforce our terms of service and other policies.
  • Based on your interactions with the Wellcee platform, your profile information, and other content you submit to the Wellcee platform, as well as information obtained from third parties, we may conduct behavioral analysis related to the activities mentioned above. In rare cases, if an automated process detects that a member or activity is deemed to pose a security or other risk to the Wellcee platform, other members, or third parties, the automated process may restrict or suspend access to the Wellcee platform.

We process this information based on our legitimate interest in protecting the Wellcee platform, to assess whether we have fully performed our contract with you and to comply with relevant laws.


2.3 Providing, Evaluating, and Improving Our Advertising and Marketing

  • Send promotional messages, marketing, advertisements, and other information you may be interested in (including information related to Wellcee, partner activities, and services), as well as social media ads on platforms like Facebook or WeChat, based on your preferences.
  • Evaluate and improve our advertising.
  • Manage referral programs, rewards, surveys, sweepstakes, contests, or other promotional activities or events hosted or managed by Wellcee or our third-party business partners.
  • Conduct behavioral analysis based on your characteristics and preferences (based on the information you provide to us, your interactions with the Wellcee platform, information obtained from third parties, and your search and booking history).

Given our legitimate interest in conducting marketing activities and providing you with products or services you may be interested in, we will process your personal information for the purposes outlined in this section. You can choose not to receive our marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions included in our marketing messages or by changing your notification settings in your Wellcee account.


2.4 How the Payment Data Controller Uses the Collected Information

  • Enable you to access and use payment services.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activities.
  • Conduct security investigations and risk assessments.
  • Check against databases and other information sources.
  • Comply with legal obligations (such as anti-money laundering regulations).
  • Enforce payment terms and other policies.
  • The payment data controller processes this information based on its legitimate interest in improving payment services and user experience, which is necessary for the full performance of the contract with you and compliance with relevant laws.


3. Sharing and Disclosure

3.1 With Your Consent

With your consent, we may share your information (including personal information) as per your instructions at the time of consent, such as when you authorize third-party applications or websites to access your Wellcee account, or when you participate in promotional activities conducted by Wellcee partners or third parties.

3.2 Profile, Service Items, and Other Public Information

You can post information on the Wellcee platform that is made publicly available (including personal information), such as:

  • Make certain information from your public profile page available to others (such as your name, description, and city).
  • Make your public service item page available to the public, including details such as the approximate geographic location (neighborhood and city) or exact location (with your consent), service description, available dates, service provider’s public profile picture, aggregated demand information (e.g., number of page views within a certain period), and any other information you choose to share.
  • After a booking is completed, both the service provider and the service recipient can leave reviews and ratings. These reviews and ratings will appear on your public profile page and may also be displayed elsewhere on the Wellcee platform (such as on the service item page).
  • If you post content on community forums, blogs, or social media, or use features like lifestyle or Wellcee Marketplace on the Wellcee platform, the related content will be made public.

Based on our legitimate interest in promoting the Wellcee platform, we may display certain content from the Wellcee platform (such as your service item page) on websites operated by Wellcee business partners through the use of tools or APIs. If your service item is displayed on a partner’s website, information from your public profile page may also be shown.

The information you publicly share on the Wellcee platform may be indexed by third-party search engines. If you change your settings or update your public content, third-party search engines may not immediately update their databases. We do not control the practices of third-party search engines, and they may use cached versions of outdated information.

3.3 Additional Services Provided by Service Providers

Service providers may need to use third-party services on the Wellcee platform to help manage their accommodations or provide additional services you request, such as cleaning services or lock suppliers. To coordinate the stay at the accommodation, manage the accommodation, or provide other services, service providers may share information about the service recipient (such as check-in and check-out dates, the service recipient’s name, phone number, and anonymous email address) with these third-party service providers using Wellcee platform features.

3.4 Complying with the Law, Responding to Legal Requests, Preventing Harm, and Protecting Our Rights

Within the scope required or permitted by law, Wellcee and Wellcee payment entities may disclose your information (including personal information) to courts, law enforcement agencies, government authorities, or authorized third parties in order to:

  • comply with legal obligations;
  • comply with legal procedures and respond to claims made against Wellcee;
  • respond to verified requests related to criminal investigations, allegations, or suspected illegal activities that may expose us, you, or any other users to legal liability;
  • enforce or manage our terms of service, payment terms, or other agreements with members; or
  • protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Wellcee, its employees, members, or the public.

Such disclosures may be necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect your or others’ vital interests, or serve legitimate interests in maintaining the security of the Wellcee platform, preventing harm or crime, exercising or defending legal rights, or preventing damage.

In appropriate cases, we will attempt to notify members of legal requests unless:

  • notification is prohibited by legal process, court orders, or applicable law; or
  • we believe that notification may be meaningless, ineffective, could cause harm to individuals or groups, or could increase the risk of fraud or harm to Wellcee’s property, members, or the Wellcee platform (collectively referred to as “risk scenarios”). In cases where we have not notified members due to the above reasons, we will attempt to notify them after the fact, if we reasonably confirm that such action is no longer prohibited by law and does not apply to a risk scenario.

Wellcee and Wellcee payment entities may need to share your information (including personal information) to ensure the full performance of our contract with you.


3.5 Business Transfer


If Wellcee is engaged in or involved in any merger, acquisition, restructuring, asset sale, bankruptcy, or insolvency events, then we may sell, transfer, or share some or all of our assets, including your information related to such transactions or contemplated such transactions (such as due diligence). In such cases, we will notify you before transferring your personal information and subjecting it to a different privacy policy.

4.Other important information

4.1 Analyze your communications

We may review, browse, or analyze your communications on the Wellcee platform for purposes such as fraud prevention, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, investigation, product development, research, and customer support. For instance, in fraud prevention, we may review and analyze information, and conceal contact information and information pointing to other websites. Sometimes, we also browse, review, or analyze information to debug, improve, and expand our product offerings. Where reasonably practicable, we will also review or analyze information in an automated manner. However, from time to time, we may need to manually review some communications (such as for fraud investigations and customer support) or access and enhance the functionality of these automated tools. We will not review, browse, or analyze your communications for the purpose of sending you third - party marketing information, nor will we sell the review or analysis of these communications.

These activities are carried out based on Wellcee's legitimate interests in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and our terms, preventing fraud, promoting security, and improving and ensuring the full performance of our services.


5.Third - party Partners and Integrations

The Wellcee platform may contain links to third - party websites or services, such as third - party integrations, co - branded services, or third - party branded services ("third - party partners"). Wellcee does not own or control these third - party partners. When you interact with them, you may provide information directly to the third - party partners, Wellcee, or both. These third - party partners have their own rules regarding the collection (storage permissions), use, and disclosure of information. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of other websites you visit.

Third - party SDK Partners. The SDK technology is provided by third - party institutions that cooperate with us, and they directly collect your personal information. For details about the identity of the providers, the purposes, methods, and scope of collecting personal information, please refer to the following table.

6.Your Rights

You may exercise any of the rights set forth in this paragraph by sending an email to hello@wellcee.com, prior to the applicability of the rights of the Wellcee Data Controller and Payment Data Controller. Please note that we may require you to verify your identity before taking further action on your request.

6.1 Manage Your Information

You can access and update some of your information through your account settings. If you have linked your Wellcee account to a third-party application (such as an Apple ID or WeChat), you can change your settings and revoke the application's permissions by changing your account settings. It is your responsibility to keep your personal information up-to-date.

6.2 Inaccurate or incomplete information

You have the right to request us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal information (including information that you cannot update yourself in your Wellcee account).

6.3 Data Access and Transfer

In certain jurisdictions, applicable law may give you the right to request a copy of your personal information that we hold. You may also have the right to request that we provide a copy of your personal information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and/or ask us to transfer this data to other service providers (if technically feasible).

6.4 Data Retention and Deletion

Generally, we retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the contract between you and us and comply with our legal obligations. If you no longer wish us to use your information to provide the Wellcee platform to you, you may request that we delete your personal information and close your Wellcee account. Please note that if you request the deletion of your personal information:

  • We may retain some of your personal information in order to comply with our legitimate business interests, such as fraud detection and prevention, and security improvements. For example, if we disable a Wellcee account due to fraud or security reasons, we may retain certain information from that Wellcee account to prevent the member from creating new Wellcee accounts in the future.
  • To comply with our legal obligations, we may retain and use your personal information. For example, Wellcee and the Wellcee payment entity may retain some of your information for tax, legal reporting, and auditing purposes.
  • Even if your Wellcee account is terminated, the information you have shared with others (such as reviews and forum posts) may still be visible on the Wellcee platform. However, the ownership information for these pieces of information will be deleted. Additionally, certain copies of your information (such as login records) may remain in our database, but they will be separated from personal identifiers.
  • As we maintain the Wellcee platform to prevent accidental or malicious loss and damage, remnants of your personal information may not be deleted from our backup systems within a limited timeframe.


6.5 Object to Processing

In certain jurisdictions, applicable law may permit you to request Wellcee and the Wellcee payment entity not to process your personal information for certain specific purposes (including behavioral analysis), which processing is based on legitimate interests. If you object to such processing, Wellcee and/or the Wellcee payment entity will no longer process your personal information for these purposes, unless we can prove that this processing has a compelling and lawful reason, or unless this processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal rights.

If your personal information is being processed for direct marketing purposes, you can request Wellcee to stop processing your data for these direct marketing purposes at any time by sending an email to hello@wellcee.com.

6.6 Account Cancellation

Android users: You can apply for account cancellation by clicking on Settings -> Others -> Logout Account in the App settings list.

Apple users: You can apply for account cancellation by clicking on My -> Settings -> Logout Account in the App settings list.

7.Security

We will continue to implement and update management, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, damage, or alteration. Some of the security measures we use to protect your information include firewalls, data encryption, and access controls for information. If you know or have reason to believe that your Wellcee account information has been lost, stolen, misused, accessed in some other way, or if there is any actual or suspected theft of your Wellcee account, please contact us as described below under "Contact Us."

8.Changes to This Privacy Policy

Wellcee reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time in accordance with these terms. If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on the Wellcee platform and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of the Privacy Policy.

9.Contact Us
