The neighborhood: Xingfu Cun, known for its leafy green streets and sizable expat community. Ideal, because its quiet here but within 5 minutes on bike you're in San Li Tun, the life of Beijing for bars and restaurants. Or if you're more into Old Beijing, we're just two or three kilometers from the Hutong scene, where you can get lost among the old alleyways of Beijing and eat great street food as well as find charming restaurants serving up excellent regional cuisines. Our apartment here is honestly very hard to find in Beijing. I've been in and out of China for 7 years, and never have I found a bright, modern apartment like this for the price. Most apartments in Beijing are either very old or are modern and outlandishly expensive. As you can see from the pictures, our home here comes with modern furniture and appliances, as well as large windows in the living room and bedrooms that let in lots of light.
